Saw Southland Tales tonight. It was a trip. I think I enjoyed it, although I have to say at the end it became ridiculously over the top in a sci-fi blasts right out of the realm of possibility sort of way. Last night, Jim borrowed the above-mentioned movie from his boss, and we watched it. It is, after all, critically acclaimed, and a number of people we know had seen it and liked it. I wasn't expecting to, honestly, because the concept sounded so very sappy.

Turns out I hated it for other reasons. ( a few spoilers, and swearing )
